Education Transformation
SQILLPAD is assisting the government
of Uganda and development partners to enhance efficiency of delivery of primary and secondary education program – leading to a holistically educated and innovative human resource.
The Challenge
Africa’s rapidly growing youth population presents both an opportunity and a challenge. Most countries in Africa are working hard to expand access by their young citizens to quality education which enables them to acquire globally competitive skills. Uganda, in particular, has been at the forefront of this transformation. In 2020, the Government of Uganda launched a competence-based curriculum designed to strengthen the integration of technology and equip learners with critical thinking and problem-solving skills. This was followed by the launch of the 4th national development program (NDPIV) which prioritizes accelerating human capital development by enhancing investments in science, technology and innovation.
Our Response
SQILLPAD – The Future of Learning.
To support this ambitious and noble human capital development goal, Sensal Systems has developed SQILLPAD – a robust digital learning ecosystem which is intended to enhance the efficiency of delivery of primary and secondary education programs in Uganda. SQILLPAD achieves this goal by enabling young learners to access a fully digitized curriculum for their levels of education, which is accompanied by simplified content, examples, simulations, learning videos and assessment questions. In addition, SQILLPAD is designed to support peer learning and interaction between teachers and learners.
What SQILLPAD Offers:
Integrated Learning Experience
Teacher–Student Collaboration
